The Prayer Rooms at Manchester Airport

Terminal 1 Prayer Room

Prayer Room Terminal 3

There are 3 Prayer Rooms, all are easily accessible and are open 24 hours a day. They are available for people of all faiths, or none. They provide an opportunity for peace and quiet, meditation, private prayer. They are also available to services for pilgrim groups. (Please contact the chaplains on 01614892838 for further details)

Their are religious books for many faiths and prayer mats are available.

For Terminal 1
For Terminal 1 go to ground level check in and follow the signs the Prayer Room and Chaplaincy Centre are near the escalator to the main check in area

For Terminal 2
Terminal 2 prayer room is on the main Concourse in the Arrivals Hall
The Prayer Room is at the end of the row of shops, near the lift and the Bollin River Cafe.

For Terminal 3
From Terminal 3 Go to the end of the Car Park link bridge, opposite the Check-In desks.Go down the stairs on the left to the next level and turn right. Walk along the corridor, the Prayer Room will be on your left. Or on entering the ground level walk up the steps by the Spar shop and follow the signs


Christian Daily Prayers are said in Terminal 1 prayer room on weekdays (excluding bank holidays)at 08.30 hrs and Sacramental services as advertised.
Islamic Friday prayers are held at lunchtime in Terminal 3
