Christmas at Manchester Airport Travelling through Manchester Airport at Christmas should be an especially exciting and happy experience, and the chaplaincy is here to assist you in whatever way we can. During December you may find carol singers from local schools and the wider community around the terminals, there are also special flights for children in the run-up to Christmas. Terminals are decorated for the festive season, and there is even a Christmas Crib located in Terminal 1 Landside. For passengers wishing to attend a service of Christian worship, details of local churches are below. The chaplaincy team leads prayers every morning in Terminal 1 Multi-faith Prayer Room (Landside, Check In B) at 08.30, and there is a service of Holy Communion on the first Thursday of every month at 13.00 at the same location. On Christmas Day a service of Holy Communion (Church of England) with be offered at 08.30 (Friday December 25), in the Terminal 1 Multi-faith Prayer Room (Landside, Check In B).
