I was born in Llanelli South Wales 1969

Parents moved to Manchester in 1980 when I was 11. Lost my Welsh accent during my schooling years. Left school and joined the Royal Northern College of Music as an apprentice engineer. After which worked at the Royal Mail for a short period as an engineer before joining Manchester Airport as an maintenance engineer in 1989. I have worked through most aspects of the Engineer divisions during this time. I currently work in Asset Maintenance Engineering. I’m an active Volunteer in the Sikh Community working on several projects helping the wider communities. I’ve had the honour of joining the Airport Chaplaincy as a ‘Volunteer Sikh Chaplain’ a few years ago.
